THIS Saturday sees the launch of the second edition of the Farmers' Market Cookbook in Tavistock's Bedford Square.
The publication includes over 100 original recipes from local producers who attend farmers markets around the county.
Tavistock's fortnightly farmers' market is scheduled for this weekend between 9am and 1pm where the first 50 purchasers of the winter cookbook will receive the summer cookbook free.
The market has 22 stall holders and all the produce on sale, from meat and vegetables to preserves, cheese and cider, is grown within a 30 mile radius of Tavistock.
New additions include Bread of Devon, handmade bread of all types and North Devon Smokery who specialise in smoked fish including 'Tipsy Salmon' — smoked salmon soaked in gin and juniper berries.
