TAVISTOCK Area Support Services (TASS) will be helping older people enjoy the Dickensian Evening tomorrow night (Friday) by offering transport to and from the town from outlying villages.

TASS buses will be going out to Princetown, Mary Tavy, Yelverton, Horrabridge, the Bere Peninsula, Lifton, Chillaton, Milton Abbot, Lamerton and points in between to help people enjoy all the Dickensian Evening has to offer.

TASS will also be offering the use of mobility scooters throughout the evening.

Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

l A new foot care service is being offered to older people throughout December as part of a trial service offered by Tavistock Area Support Services (TASS).

In December, TASS is working with a registered chiropodist to offer a nail clipping service for older people with foot care problems.

The service will take place at the Anchorage Centre on December 1 and 22. Anyone interested will need to book an appointment.
