THREE vehicles, including a fuel tanker, were involved in an accident at Horrabridge last Thursday, causing long tailbacks on the A386.
No-one was injured in the collision, which occurred at 11.45am, despite an initial report that a person was trapped in their vehicle.
A BMW and a Nissan 4x4 driven by a heavily pregnant woman were
involved in the crash near Manor Garage.
Five police cars and a fire crew from Tavistock attended the scene and the road was closed for 45 minutes.
Fire officers said the fuel tanker turned out to be empty so there was no risk of a spillage.
Long tailbacks resulted in both the Tavistock and Yelverton directions.
