THE Tavistock group of the Devon Wildlife Trust begins its autumn series of talks and walks next Wednesday (September 10) with the Dartmoor biodiversity project ?Action for Wildlife.?

Dartmoor National Park will be giving the talk which begins at 8pm in the Parish Church Centre in Tavistock.

On September 14, the group has arranged a guided walk at Wistman?s Wood which is being led by Dartmoor National Park ranger Paul Glanville. This ancient oak woodland is a very special site in the national park and anyone wishing to participate should meet in the car park of the Two Bridges Hotel at 2pm.

The DWT group welcomes all members and non members and adults are asked to make a contribution of £2. Children are free and dogs are welcome on most of the group?s walks.
