YOU can enjoy a drink and a dance, have fun ? and help raise crucial funds for the Hatherleigh Festival. All you have to do is turn up for a barn dance featuring the popular band Pendragon at the town hall on Saturday March 22.

Festival organiser Claire Gladstone said the money raised would be ploughed into the general festival funds.

?Already we have all sorts of things booked. There is a diverse range of events ranging from all sorts of music, including classical, to theatre and a wide selection of workshops. We have recently booked the dynamic 10-piece band Joey the Lips which should provide a brilliant evening during the festival,? she said.

The Hatherleigh Festival, which has become a hugely popular annual event, will take place on July 10 to 13.

Tickets for the Pendragon concert at Hatherleigh Town Hall are £5 and can be obtained from the Hatherleigh Paper Shop or from Claire Gladstone on (01837) 811116.
