The event was held adjacent to the Exeter arena with a strong TAC contingent.
There were significant achieve-ments for the Tavistock runners with Emily Attfield taking a silver medal in the Devon championship girls' U13 race.
Jasmin Gray also ran well finish in 10th place followed by Molly Rickwood in ninth position in the Devon champs.
Harry Herdman in the U13s boys finished in 12th place in the county event.
In the U15 boys event Tavistock were well represented with Sam de Courtin leading the Tavistock runners home in the Westward League competition with Jordan Channon eighth place in the Devon championships followed by Pete Jarman in 18th.
In the combined U17s and senior ladies race the U17s recorded further success with Harrison Baker leading the TAC runners in eighth place in the Devon championships followed by Dean Smith in ninth place, James Best in 10th place and Sam Lloyd in 13th. This strong contingent won first place in the team event winning the gold medal in the championships.
Alice Rogers in the U17 ladies race was running as part of her modern pentathlon training in which she has national ranking and regularly competes at international level in her age group.
Alice ran well to finish in fourth in the Devon championships just missing out on a medal.
In the senior ladies Caroline Steven finishing in 33rd place and Kate Rogers 59th position.
In the senior men's race Jim Cole stormed home in overall second and a silver medal in the county champioinships.
The Tavistock men veterans gained further medals with Tony Symons winning the Male Vet 50 gold, Allan Herdman winning the silver in the male veterans 55 category and Bob Chapman winning the bronze medal in the male veterans 60 event. Chris Champion was fourth in the male vet 45.
Other Tavistock runners included Martin Exley finishing in 74th, Charlie Lloyd in 85th, Mike Erith in 126th, Dave Rickwood in 132nd place, Richard Best in 142nd place, and Robin Musgrave in 146th place.
This strong contingent saw the club taking further honours winning both the silver medals in the senior men's team event and the veteran men's team event.
The occasion saw a welcome return to the running scene after a two year absence of Nick Champion who despite limited preparation for the event finished in an impressive overall 63rd place.
