OKEHAMPTON College Big Band will be in full swing with a musical concert at Bridestowe Methodist Church on Friday, November 12, starting at 7.30pm.

Jennifer Thorne, the secretary of Bridestowe Methodist Church said: 'This is a return visit after a very successful concert a few years ago.

'It has been decided that 50 per cent of the money from the concert will go to the Big Band to help fund their future visit to New York.

'The other 50 per cent will go to the BBC Radio Devon Air Ambulance Appeal.'
