THE spring swimming term for those over 55 started with a splash at Kelly College yesterday (Wednesday). The sessions have been organised by Tavistock Area Supports Services, based at The Anchorage Centre. Since February 1989 swimming has made a difference to many people over 55, through the benefit of exercise and socialisation. Vera Jones, trustee and a founder member of TASS, said: 'This is a fun group where non swimmers can mix with swimmers under the watchful eye of Clare Short and we are grateful for all the support Kelly College has given to the group over the years.'
