A TAVISTOCK woman has released her latest book, aimed at keeping things sweet for those with dietary intolerances.
'No Naughties: Sweet Treats without Sugar, Wheat, Gluten and Yeast,' is a collection of recipes by Dr Tarja Moles offering an alternative to traditional gluten-free products.
'Some of the ingredients I used didn't behave in the same way as sugar and wheat, so there have been things that went wrong: cakes that turned out like bricks, for example.
'It has been a long process, with lots of practice to get things right.'
The book is foreworded by Paul Ainsworth, one of Cornwall's most respected chefs and winner of the dessert course on the BBC 2 TV series Great British Menu 2011.
He writes: 'With this book Tarja Moles has created some great recipes which enable people to enjoy the same treats as those without allergies.
'She has captured the importance of adapting dishes to suit individual circumstances and highlights how you can make your diet work for you, without losing the enjoyment of food and cooking.'
'No Naughties: Sweet Treats without Sugar, Wheat, Gluten and Yeast' is available from Kilworthy Kapers, Tavistock, Amazon and other retailers are also fulfilling orders.
The book is also available in large print.
