A HOUSING needs survey will be undertaken by West Devon Council during June as part of its ongoing commitment to meeting future housing need in the borough. This survey, to be sent to 5,700 households, will determine both the volume and type of housing required by local people to either rent or buy, depending on their financial means. Households will be selected randomly to participate in the survey. The council is urging people to respond to the survey if they are asked to take part even if they have recently completed a housing survey form specifically for their own parish. The questionnaires will be sent out to households from Wednesday May 17 and need to be returned by Thursday June 8.
