YELVERTON Golf Club held their Centenary Pro Am in conjunction with the Devon County PGA amid glorious weather and a superbly presented course. The event was supported by 30 teams of three amateurs and a professional from the DCPGA.

The professional individual event was won by Chris Gill (RND) with a superb score of six under par 65 followed by Barry Austin (Teign Valley) and Robin Goodey (RND) on 68.

The low scoring in the team event was evidence of the course conditions and was won by the team led by professional David Jeffs (Hele Park) with a score of 17 under par 125. They won by two strokes from the team led by Jody Bee (Exeter) and by four strokes from the team led by Robin Goodey (RND) on 11 under par.
