Ordulph Arms 6

THE game started tight with both teams battling hard. Sean Moloney was forced into making a point blank save early on for Ordulph, while at the other end Rob Moloney had a header superbly stopped.

The visitors took the lead as Paul Gliddon's cross shot flew into the top corner. Ordulph's second goal saw Hoskin and Stephens combine superbly to find Phillpotts; he slid a great pass to  Coole, who finished the move with a calm strike.

Ordulph's finishing made the difference and they were soon three up as Gliddon's perfect cross was flicked into the net by the head of Phillpotts. The visitors hit a fourth before half time as Stephens expertly drilled home with his left foot to claim his 26th goal of the season.

The second half was an even better performance from the Ordulph as Old Sutts started to lose the discipline; Ordulph responded by playing some superb football, and were willing to scrap when necessary. The visitors could have extended their lead on several occasions, but had to wait until Seb Krotke was through on goal and made no mistake in hitting the fifth.

Old Sutts were then reduced to 10 men after a horrendous challenge on Ben Stephens left the referee no option but to show the red card.

James Aggis added the sixth drilling home from the edge of the box with his left foot, to cap off a great day for the Ordulph.
