ZEAL moved into second place in the league after a convincing home win against Bickleigh on Saturday.
The game was all but over as a contest after a hat-trick from Harley Cann and a brace from Steve Pillivant put Zeal 5-0 ahead at half-time.
The half-time scoreline could have been much worse for Bickleigh had Zeal taken more of their chances and a Garry Smith shot from 25 yards gone in rather than hitting the crossbar.
Zeal went off the boil in the second half and conceded two soft goals but replied with goals from Roger White and Alan Vile.
But, as in the first half, chances went begging with Phil Tyler, Tom Reilly and Harley Cann all coming close to extending Zeal?s lead.
