THE Exbourne Community Market and Big Breakfast event blossomed in the sunshine on June 4, taking around £1,100.
Those trading their wares at the outdoor plant stalls had to alternate between salesmanship and watering the plants on offer, while those tucking into breakfast hid under the shady marquee outside the village hall.
Stalls inside the hall displayed a wide variety of gifts and locally produced food, including slow grown meats, venison burgers and sausages. The cake and savoury stalls did a roaring trade, and the event brought in a great total with the money going back into the local area.
Exbourne and Jacobstowe Community Association expressed thanks to all who supported the event.
