TAVISTOCK Area Support Services' Bere to Tavistock Sunday shuttle bus will be extending its services for an extra week.

Due to the weather, the free shuttle bus had to be cancelled on January 10 and so the service has been extended to include Sunday, January 24.

The Sunday shuttle service provides free, return journeys by minibus, between the Bere Peninsula and Tavistock.

With the service, travellers of all ages can access the town centre, sports events, out of town shops and local bus services.

Tavistock residents can also use the shuttle service to visit the Bere Peninsula, and Tamar Valley Line users can use the service as a connection to or from Tavistock. Departures start from the Bere Peninsula at 9.45am and the last return from Tavistock is at 4pm. Journeys must be booked before 5pm on Saturdays and 4pm on weekdays.
