FOUR members of staff at the Manor House Hotel have entered a gruelling team challenge to raise funds for vital medical research. Ryan Smith, Ian Jones, Lii Raudsep and Janeli Kundla (pictured above) have entered the ?Race the Sun? challenge in the Lake District. The event takes place on Saturday September 1 and consists of a 50-mile cycle ride, climbing and descending Helvellyn (3,116ft), and canoeing around Lake Thirlmere (2-miles) The challenge starts at sunrise and must be completed by sunset ? 12-hours ? with all four team members completing all stages of the course. The event has been organised by Action Medical Research, a charity responsible for medical research and development, covering cerebal palsy, sickle cell disease, strokes, epilepsy and premature birth. among others.
