SUMMER-time and once more Tavistock will be nearing gridlock as cars circle round and round looking for a parking space. Why not avoid the parking congestion and use a bus if you can? People over 60 can travel free on West Devon area buses. The privilege is government funded through West Devon Borough Council. Just take your photo, proof of identity and address to West Devon Borough Council at Kilworthy Park to obtain a free bus pass. Many buses stop by the church, nearer to the shops than the car parks. The money you save on parking and petrol will buy you a cup of tea at the end of your visit. We have lost the Sunday 84 service again. Use our transport services or lose them!
