ARTISTS from the Drawn to the Valley Group have been preparing to decorate the Tavistock Town Hall with a special suspended art installation as part of their forthcoming summer exhibition there from August 6 to 10, which will be opened by Turner historian and Cornwall County councillor, Dorothy Kirk. The exhibition in the centre of Tavistock will showcase the work of 60 local Tamar Valley artists, some of whom will also be demonstrating different art techniques throughout the five days of the exhibition. All are welcome to come along and see the finished installation and chat with artists at work.
