RIDERS are needed to face a moor challenge cycle ride on Sunday, July 11.
Leukaemia charity the Anthony Nolan Trust is staging the Mystical Moor Challenge for a fifth year, and more than 500 people are expected to participate.
The ride will have a different route from previous years, to provide a new challenge to people who have already attempted the event. It is now being held in the summer in the hope of avoiding the worst of Dartmoor's weather.
The event is open to all the family and offers three lengths of ride: a 50+ mile, a 20+ mile and a 10-mile route. There is full back-up on the signed routes — first aid, marshals and refreshments stops. All finishers will receive an official certificate and there are incentives available for raising sponsorship for the charity.
The entry fee is £10 in advance or £15 on the day. For further information call Kizzy Brown on 01404 891702 or e-mail [email protected]">[email protected]
