RECENTLY I had a fall in Market Street. Two gentlemen, strangers to me, helped me to my feet, checking that I?d broken no bones, but because I was bleeding profusely, one called a taxi, while the other stayed with me, and I was taken to Okehampton Hospital. When I asked the taxi driver what I owed him he said the gentleman had taken care of that! He took me in to the hospital where I was immediately attended to. If they ever read this, I would like to thank those gentlemen, the taxi driver and the nurse who attended to my cuts and bruises for all the care and kindness they showed to me.
