POLICE are appealing for information after a 'substantial' amount of money was stolen from a cash machine in Callington on June 9.

Officers believe the crime was committed by an organised gang at around 1.15am.?Witnesses saw three males, dressed in black, and a silver high performance car, possibly a BMW.

Some items from the burglary, including the cash boxes, were recovered in the Luckett Hill area, which suggests that the gang made off in the Tavistock direction.

A substantial amount of cash in £10s and £20s was taken.
