DISCOVER the beauty of Dartmoor through a collection of stunning paintings on display at the High Moorland Visitor Centre at Princetown until Sunday March 6. The collection by Plymouth artist Sue Wills, entitled Dartmoor Impressions from the Palette, is inspired by the colours, textures and light to be found in the upland woods, river valleys and open moorland of Dartmoor. The work on display is created using a palette knife to enable oils to be added to the canvas, forming subtle textures and capturing the play of light over the landscape. Sue?s work can also be seen at her gallery, Only Originals, established in 1983 at White Lane, The Barbican , Plymouth. The High Moorland Visitor centre is open daily between 10am and 4pm until Sunday March 6. It will then be closed until Friday March 11 to enable annual maintenance work to be carried out. Normal opening times will resume on Saturday March 12.
