THE EARLY Years Department of Duchy College at Stoke Climsland has been raising money for The British Heart Foundation in a 'jump off' skipping challenge.

Students and staff were skipping solidly for an hour working their way through a variety of activities from individual skipping to double Dutch skipping and obstacle courses. They have raised in the region of £400.

Head of Duchy College Andrew Counsell said: 'We actively encourage our students to support local charities through fundraising events. It enables them to make a real contribution to their communities, promoting a sense of responsibility and citizenship as part of the overall student experience.'
