THE outside area of Horrabridge Primary School has been given a makeover thanks to a newly painted mural.

Two students from MarJon, Rhys Jones and Simon Field, who are doing a teacher training course, visited the school as part of an enhanced placement.

The school had to put in a bid to the college for the two students to come and complete a project developing the outside areas.

The reception children designed garden scenes for the mural and helped Rhys and Simon create an environmental area for the pupils to observe mini-beasts and grow plants.

The Year 1 and 2 children helped the students paint the scenes.
