THE A30 carriageway was closed for about an hour on August 1 after a car towing a caravan hit the central crash barrier. The incident occurred at around 11am on the A30 eastbound at Meldon Dip. There were no serious injuries. The road was blocked and traffic diverted until around 12pm.
