A WEST Devon nursery is celebrating after being praised in a recent Ofsted inspection.

Whitchurch Montessori Nursery had an Ofsted visit in January which rated it 'Good' in all areas.

The report said: 'The nursery has a very strong caring ethos where children play very well together, show concern for each other, learn to share, take turns and understand simple rules.

'Staff praise children for their good work, consequently children feel valued and motivated to learn.'

The nursery expressed thanks to all staff, parents and children for their support.

Whitchurch Montessori Nursery opens Mondays to Thursdays from 9.15am to 3.45pm and Friday from 9.15am to 12.15pm and takes children from two to five years old.

The nursery is registered to accept Early Years Education Funding for three to five years olds (15 hours free nursery provision) and has some spaces available for now and in September.
