FOLLOWING the success of a Tavistock woman's fundraising 'strokes for stroke' last year, raising money for Tavistock Stroke Club, Jan Demery and her fellow stroke survivors will this year be undertaking 'steps for stroke'. The event will see Jan and fellow participants complete three laps of Tavistock Meadows (approximately three miles) on July 3. Anyone wishing to sponsor Jan as an individual, or make a donation to Tavistock Stroke Club, can do so on a sponsor form or in the box at Meadowlands Pool reception. The pool has been a great support to Jan in her continued swimming prowess and she hopes that the kind public of Tavistock will help to raise even more money than last year for the Tavistock Stroke Club funds.
