DUO Ten String will be in concert at the Wharf, Tavistock, tomorrow Friday at 7.30pm.

German cellist Barbara Degener, who now lives in Cornwall, and classical guitarist Angela Wunnam formed Duo Ten String last year.

They have had a warm response to their concerts by audiences fascinated by the amazing possibilities of the classical guitar and cello together; a wonderful combination of beautiful instruments, warm and exciting sounds from unusual as well as known composers, performed by two skilled musicians.

The special musical magic between Angela and Barbara always includes communicating to the listeners and creates an atmosphere where audiences just love sharing their music.

At the Wharf in Tavistock they will be taking their listeners on a journey from gentle Renaissance music to Spanish 'fire' and modern-day South America, ending with a selection of Jewish Klezmer folk music for the heart and for restless dancing feet.
