EVEN flood disruption did not affect the singing success of students at Okehampton College recently.

Eight students, who have been coached by Linda Bellairs, took singing exams this term.

Linda said: 'I am particularly pleased, because we had the floods and effectively missed two weeks — congratulations to them all.'

Zoe Elliott-Shircore passed grade 4 singing with distinction, Sarah Pirwany passed grade 3 with merit and Jennifer Davies, Chloe Essery, Louise Graham and Connie Smith all passed their grade 1 examination.

Vicky Dean and Alex Hester-Greenhill were successful in their singing preparatory tests.

The girls were all accompanied by John Holland.
