THE Sunday Rover service providing trains between Okehampton and Exeter may not run either this weekend or the next due to strikes.
A strike by the RMT Union looks set to see the service cancelled on Sunday August 23 and Sunday August 30. The Sunday Rover provides several trains each Sunday linking Okehampton to Exeter and the wider rail network.
In a statement, First Great Western said it was meeting with the RMT and remained hopeful they would come to an agreement that would avoid the strikes going ahead.
