GET Changed Theatre Company is one of the latest organisations to benefit from Waitrose's Community Matters scheme. Chair of Get Changed Christine Munkenbeck visited the Okehampton store to collect a cheque for £326 to support their work. This year, the company is taking on its most ambitious project to date – Get Changed Makes History. A collaboration between the National Trust and Get Changed, the project will offer visitors to Castle Drogo the opportunity to experience three very different projects by the group, beginning this spring with a set of visual and audio installations set around the castle's interior and exterior space. Get Changed Theatre Company works with adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems using role play and performing arts techniques to develop life skills and confidence, promote social inclusion and empower people to realise their full potential.
