Okehampton v Kingskerswell

OKEHAMPTON are still looking for their first win of the season. On Saturday they played third-placed Kingskerswell and were defeated by 162 runs.

Kingskerswell batted first and scored 224 runs for the loss of four wickets, with two fine knocks from batsmen A Hook (69no) and 86 from M King, with a fourth wicket stand of 123 runs.

Okehampton's bowlers were not at their best and a few dropped catches did not help their cause. It was not a good day for Okehampton, their batsmen being bowled out for 61 runs with Stuart Luxton on 20.

There was some fine bowling for Kingskerswell, P Edward taking four wickets for five runs, P Harding taking four wickets for nine runs.
