TELEVISION presenter, actor and musician Steve Wilson, has recently returned from Brighton to live in Tavistock with his wife Lucy and daughter Daisy.

Steve, a former Tavistock College student, will continue to commute to London for his weekly television appearance on ITV's 'This Morning' where he presents features on foreign travel, show business and other topical items.

Recent trips have taken him to Egypt, Madeira and Italy, and he has interviewed actress Sienna Miller, director Tim Burton and actor Johnny Depp — Steve was even subjected to a Mohican haircut from Johnny Depp as he reprised his role as the demon barber Sweeney Todd.

Steve intends to continue his passion for BMX and mountain biking. He has organised many national BMX reunion weekends for old bikers in different parts of the country, which included a gathering of more than 30 riders, known as the 'Old Fools' in Penzance, for a two-day meet.

A number of Tavistock BMX riders attended the event, some of them former members of the Tavistock Influx BMX Club, of which Steve was president in the 1990s.
