MEMBERS of the 1st South Zeal Scout Group took part in a gruelling 24-hour 50-mile hike sponsored hike around Dartmoor recently in aid of CLIC.
The challenge, which was split into four parts in relay style, was prompted by the death of 13-year-old scout Megan Pillar from South Zeal.
All members of the group from six-year-old beavers to senior explorers played their part during the walk that started and finished at the Scout Hut in South Tawton and took in Chagford, Two Bridges and Peter Tavy.
