AN amateur actor is wanted to play a right royal role in a village production.

Meavy Amateur Dramatics is seeking to fill the role of Princess Charlotte for its next pantomime production, 'Jack and the Beanstalk', which is set to hit the stage at Meavy Village Hall this February.

Rehearsals take place on a Thursday in Meavy from 7.30pm to 10pm.

The only commitment the crowned princess needs to give is to be available on Thursday evenings and production week and, of course, to come along and have some good panto-style, thigh-slapping fun.
