SUMMER means a good time to enjoy the flowers on Dartmoor. Moorland Guides are putting on six guided strolls. These gentle rambles will be followed by a cream tea at the owner's house. Walkers should see many orchids like greater butterfly as well as flowers like cat's ear, and yellow rattle.
The walks start from Postbridge Information Centre. The price of each is £10 and includes a cream tea. Each walk will last about three hours. The walks start at 2pm on the following dates: June 24, June 26, June 30 and July 4. There is no need to book, just turn up.
