TAKE a pinch of Buffalo Bill, a dash of Barnum, some original music and lots of wild-west tricks and you have the family show ?The Extraordinary Tale of Colonel Cody? by Proteus Theatre.

Proteus will be visiting West Devon during January and appearing at Bradninch Guildhall on Tuesday, January 13 at 7.00pm, at Mary Tavy Coronation Hall on Wednesday, January 14 at 7.30pm and at Lustleigh Village Hall on Thursday, January 15 at 7.00pm.

Colonel Cody, or Colonel Samuel Franklin Cody to accord him due respect, was a daredevil, cowboy, Wild West showman and the first man to fly an aeroplane in the UK. He was a pioneer of powered flight and achieved his aviation feat at Farnborough Common, Hampshire, on October 16, 1908. Tragically Colonel Cody was killed in an air crash in Farnborough in 1913.

Proteus Theatre with writer James Barry have woven his story into a fun-packed show for all the family to enjoy. It?s full of amazing stunts, unbelievable feats and lots of fun as Colonel Cody?s crazy adventures have the whole family on the edge of their seats as well as wanting to join in!

The show runs for two hours with an interval and at each venue there will be refreshments available, with a licensed bar as well, at Bradninch.
