Tavistock v Plymstock A
TAVISTOCK won the toss and bowled first. Will Stead and Mikey Cousens opened the bowling and both bowled at pace.
Stead was the first to strike, emphatically bowling the Plymstock opening bat with his third ball; a second wicket fell two balls later when sharp fielding by Tom Cummins and good wicket-keeping by Rhys Davies produced a run-out.
Stead then went on to take four more wickets in a devasting spell of bowling finishing with figures of 5-11 off four overs. Will Smith, Tom Cummins, Dom and Nick Scaglioni also picked up a wicket apiece which resulted in Plymstock being all-out for 81. Tavistock did not get off to the best of starts losing two of their first three batsmen in first two overs.
Dom Scaglioni and Mikey Cousens steadied the ship until Cousens was given out. Rhys Davies came to the crease and he and Scaglioni batted sensibly against a good bowling attack to add runs whenever possible.
Tavistock then started to lose wickets at regular intervals and only Davies offered any resistance for Tavistock. Tavistock were finally dismissed for 67 and lost the game by 14 runs. Rhys Davies top scored for the home side with 27.

Stead was the first to reach his 50 and went on to make a superb 75 before being caught on the boundary.
Tavistock lost a further wicket and this brought Dominic Scaglioni to the crease and he and Tom Cummins pushed Tavistock towards the 200 mark.
Cummins reached his 50 in good style as he superbly drove the ball for four and finished on 65 not out with Scaglioni finishing on 30 not out off only 11 balls. Tavistock innings ended on 185 for 2 off 20 overs.
Tavistock opened the bowling with the pace of Will Stead and Rhys Davies and both bowled well.
A change in bowling brought a wicket as the dangerous Cloud was caught by Scaglioni of the bowling of Will Smith.
Smith picked up his second wicket when he clean bowled Gun-Collings for eight.
Tom Cummings delivered four overs of quality pace bowling which slowed Plymptons run-rate down. Nick Scaglioni picked up a wicket after Mikey Cousens produced a sharp bit of wicket-keeping to stump the batsmen and Cousens was involved again minutes later linking up with Rhys Davies to run-out another of the Plympton batsmen.
Plympton finished their innings on 122 for 4 off 20 overs. Tavistock won the game by 63 runs.
