INTERNATIONAL movie star Kate Winslet has donated a complete autographed set of all her films to be auctioned in aid of West Devon charity CHICKS. The auction will take place at the ?Sharks and Sequins at the Aquarium? at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth on Saturday, November 18, and musician Seth Lakeman will be making a guest appearance. Miss Winslet said she was keen to support CHICKS in their campaign ?to provide a breath of fresh air to children whose lives are tough and deprived of the joys of the countryside?. The auction will also feature top items such as the silk Escada dress worn by Greta Scacchi a the 1997 Golden Globe Awards, a signed T-shirt from Alan Titchmarsh, a brooch donated by Baroness Betty Boothroyd and a signed copy of Sir Ranulph Fiennes? new book. CHICKS provides free respite breaks to disadvantaged children between 8 and 15 from throughout the UK at its two West Devon centres.
