A SOUTH West care group has designed a stand with a difference to exhibit its care homes at the Devon County Show. Stonehaven, which owns Chollacott Residential Home in Whitchurch, is experimenting under the aegis of the Federation of Small Businesses by taking a copy of one of the rooms to the show. The care group has designed a specialist stand by copying a room to look like one of the rooms at Chollacott Residential Home. Using advanced photographic techniques, the visiting public will be able to have tea and cake with members of Stonehaven's staff while receiving answers to their questions about residential care for the elderly and infirm, in what is essentially a representation of a typical Stonehaven room.
