Stags attends the London and Country Property Show 2017

Stags recently showcased a selection of West Country properties at the London and Country Property Show.

The event, which took place at Chelsea Old Town Hall, was an excellent opportunity to advertise Stags stock to buyers in the capital. With over 50% of our buyers relocating from London and the South East, whether that’s to retire in the West Country or simply discover a new pace of life down here, this is an audience any agent should be focussing on.

Not only was this a valuable exercise in terms of selling property, it was also a chance for buyers who are considering a move to the West Country to obtain more information about living in the region. Helpful advice on relocating to the West Country was delivered from Stags Partner, Simon Cooper from the Exeter office, assisted by Heather Summers from the Marketing Department.

Discussions were had with a wide variety of buyers, the majority of whom were looking for homes to move to rather than second homes, but there were also buyers looking for development and investment opportunities. The majority had over a million pounds to invest and viewings have already taken place of properties viewed at the show. Reflecting on the day, Simon Cooper commented, “Though it was a long day for us both, it was rewarding to be able to engage with London buyers face to face and get a better feel of their property requirements. It was also pleasing to show people, who do not know the West Country, the diverse range of property and lifestyle this fabulous part of the world has to offer”.
