FROM April 10 2013 'SSAFA Forces Help' changed its name to simply 'SSAFA', as part of continuing work to improve awareness of the charity amongst members of the Forces community, both serving and ex-service.

SSAFA has supported our Forces and their families for more than 125 years and the work we do in 2013 is as vital as ever.

It is particularly important at the local level where the Devon branch of the military charity of trained volunteers aim to ensure that help and advice are always close at hand.

Last year alone Devon branch supported 600 veterans and their families in our communities.

It's really important that those who serve and those who used to serve in our Forces know that SSAFA is here for them and their families for life.

We are also keen to reach out to any volunteers who would like to help by as a caseworker or assisting with awareness or fundraising.
