A SPECIAL presentation event was held at Tavistock College last week, to honour students who have successfully completed a variety of trips and expeditions in conjunction with the school. Trinity Sailing Foundation presented certificates to students who have completed three separate expeditions of 113 miles, 195 miles and 203 miles on the Foundation?s sail training ships Leader, Provident and Bessie Ellen. Royal Yachting Association competent crew certificates were also awarded. Emergency First Aid certificates were presented to students who completed the Getaway training programme. A gold Duke of Edinburgh residential certificate was awarded to Sarah Roberts and bronze certificates were awarded to students who had completed the ASDAN UK youth achievement awards.
