SPORT FOR ALL was the message delivered by Okehampton Sportsweek which attracted hundreds of people to its vast activity programme.

It just gets better and better, said manager of OCRA Stuart Lord, who organises the event each year in association with local sports clubs.

Thirty sporting activities were held throughout the week from football and netball to table tennis and skating in different venues within the town.

Following tournaments, professional coaching sessions and have-a-go sessions, Sportsweek culminated in a Fun Day last Sunday with games, five-a-side football and cycling activities.

More than 1,000 participated in the various sporting events and teams came from all over the south west.

Mr Lord has expressed thanks to all the sports clubs and local sponsors.
