THE Spooners and West Dartmoor Pony Club mounted games team competed in the area finals at Chyverton Equestrian Park and came away with a superb second place.

The team, consisted of Sophie Allen riding Jester, team captain Lucy Scott riding Cammie, Jess Harrison riding Ricky, Alice Kodritsch riding Bod and Sam Underwood riding Billy Whizz, Despite stiff competition from nine competing pony club teams they finished second and have now qualified to compete at the sone final in June and Royal Cornwall Show. This was a superb achievement for the team who have practiced all through the winter and were rewarded for their equine efforts.
