A GHOULISH and spooky evening stroll on moorland is taking place tomorrow (Friday), especially for children.
The Children's Hallowe'en Dartmoor Walk is being staged from 6pm to 8pm. Participants will visit the tombs, stone rows and ruins of the 'old people' of the Bronze Age as you stroll in the darkness across the moorland.
Bring a flask of soup or warm drink and a snack, wear warm clothing and a woolly hat.
Dartmoor guide Simon Dell will explore some of the stories, myths and legends that Dartmoor also has to offer on such a night. It is advised to bring a torch. The cost is £5 for a family group but if the whole family comes in costume there is no charge. Well behaved dogs, strictly kept on leads, are welcome.
Meet at Four Winds car park between Merrivale and Rundlestone. Call 07845 176870 for more information.
