THERE were excellent wins for Shebbear College?s U14s and the U12s against Grenville College on Saturday. The U14s scored 201-6 in their 25 overs, with both Gareth Tidball and James Scott scoring 50s.

When Grenville batted, wickets fell at regular intervals, Tristan Brown removing the danger men early on, and the visitors could only manage 119-7 in reply.

The U12s, too, batted first and scored a massive 240-4 in just 25 overs with Lewis Seaton scoring 50 and Charlie Neilson finishing on 40 not out, but all the batsmen managed to reach double figures.

When Grenville batted, Tom Stone, Tim Ames, Lawrence Stone and Lewis Seaton all took two wickets each as the opposition were dismissed for 86 in the 18th over, Shebbear winning by 154 runs.
