TV PERSONALITY Angela Rippon OBE is the special guest at this year's Stannary Brass Band's Christmas Charity Concert. Angela, who is the band's patron, will be hosting the concert which takes place this Saturday December 9 in St Eustachius Church , Tavistock by kind permission of the Rev Joanna Abacassis. The Band has also invited former Tavistock College student Amy Caulshaw to join them as their guest. Amy is a well known local singer who has regularly appeared at the Acoustic Cafe as well as performing around the UK and overseas. The band and Amy have chosen the Children's Hospice South West to be recipients of the concert proceeds. Entrance is free and a retiring collection will be taken. Refreshments will be provided by the Lions Club of Tavistock.
