A SPECIAL event to say farewell to retiring cancer nurse specialist Gill Davies (pictured above) will take place at The Triangle Centre in Tavistock next month.

Anyone who has come into contact with Gill over the last ten years is invited to go along on April 27 for tea and cake.?A book of reflections is also being created from all the people she has helped.

The Triangle Centre is a service for patients, carers and relatives of those suffering from cancer, enabling them to access information, support, complementary therapies and counselling.

Gill was integral in establishing the Triangle Centre and colleagues and friends wanted to mark the occasion of her retirement.

The gathering will take place on April 27 from 1pm to 3pm and anyone who would like to contribute to the book of reflections should drop their messages into the Triangle Centre or send them to the Triangle Centre, Tavistock Clinic, 70 Plymouth Road, Tavistock, Devon, PL19 8BX by April 13.
