POLICE in Callington have appealed for witnesses and information after a spate of criminal damage in the town, which broke out on the evening of Saturday, April 18.
In one incident the glass roof of a conservatory was smashed, causing £1,000 worth of damage in Zaggy Lane, while in another a shop window was broken in Fore Street. The crime numbers are BN/09/ 271 and 270.
Between 8pm and midnight someone attempted to steal a car, while nearby another incident was reported of flowers and plants taken from a house window box in Fore Street.
A red unisex mountain bike was stolen at Pollard Road between 8.45am and 10.45am on April 17 and a solar cat scarer went missing from the Westover Road area of Callington overnight on April 24/25.
